Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a group of islands located in the Bay of Bengal, to the east of mainland India. The islands are an Union Territory of India, with the capital at Port Blair. The archipelago is made up of around 572 islands, of which only around 38 are inhabited. The climate is tropical, with temperatures ranging from 20 to 32 degrees Celsius.

The islands are known for their beautiful beaches, coral reefs, and mangrove forests. They are a popular destination for scuba diving and snorkeling, as the waters are home to a diverse array of marine life. The islands also have a rich cultural heritage, with several indigenous tribes residing on them.
